R'BULL Pro 13: mastering
thermal radiation
R'BULL Pro 13 is a 13 mm multilayer thin reflective insulation product, with two pure aluminium faces. It is classified B-s1,d0 under the EN 13501-1 standard and covered by the European Technical Assessment ETA 22/0178. Combined with two non-ventilated air gaps, it reaches a thermal resistance of R = 1.60 m².K/W according to the EN ISO 22097:2023 standard. It features genuine pure aluminium reflective sheets (rather than aluminised polymer films), within a structure designed to limit heat transfer and preserve performance over time. 6.5 microns of thermal precision
Reduced to 6.5 microns, our aluminium sheet limits its own heating and optimises the reflection of thermal radiation. The result: less heat absorbed, more energy reflected
A high-performance infrared mirror
Thanks to pure aluminium with very high reflectivity, R'BULL Pro 13 has an emissivity of 0.05 and a solar factor of less than 0.03. It acts as a thermal mirror, able to reflect infrared radiation outwards or inwards, depending on the installation configuration.
A structure designed to limit heat transfer
Our air bubbles keep the reflective sheets away from the blue polyethylene foam core. This design reduces direct contact, enhances the reflective function of the aluminium and helps limit heat transfer, better preserving efficiency over time.
How to supplement your roof insulation with a reflective insulation product

R'BULL Pro 13 is designed to supplement your traditional insulation (glass wool, rock wool, wood fibre) and effortlessly meet the requirements of RE 2020 and large-scale renovations (BAR-TH-175).
- Unconverted loft spaces: Add 5.40 m².K/W to reach the required 7 m².K/W.
- Roof slopes: Supplement with 4.40 m².K/W to reach 6 m².K/W.
- Interior walls: Just 2.10 m².K/W to add to reach 3.7 m².K/W.
- Ground floors: Add 1.40 m².K/W to meet the required 3 m².K/W.

The Roof Covering
Tiles and battens form the first line of protection against solar heat gain. Thanks to the natural ventilation of the roof covering, some of the heat is dissipated before it even reaches the living space.
The R'BULL Pro 13 Shield
13 mm of technology dedicated to performance. Its two pure aluminium faces repel 95% of solar radiation before it turns into heat. Airtight and moisture-resistant, R'BULL Pro 13 helps protect your loft space over the long term.
The Active Air Gap
Created by the installation of R'BULL Pro 13, this sealed air gap completes the effectiveness of the system. It slows residual heat transfer and helps maintain better thermal balance, in both summer and winter.
The Finish
The plasterboard on furring channels provides a clean, neat finish. To further boost the overall performance, it is recommended to add fibrous insulation to improve overall thermal comfort.
