Two families of thin insulation, one shared technology

Under the Ceilingo brand, two complementary ranges of thin insulation address two distinct needs. R'BULL Pro acts on thermal radiation to keep heat out in summer and in during winter. R'Acoustic acts on airborne sound transmission to reduce noise between two rooms or two homes.

What is thin insulation?

Thin insulation is a low-thickness material, generally between 5 and 20 mm, designed to slow thermal or acoustic transfer between two surfaces. Its performance does not rely on mass or thickness, but on specific physical principles assessed in laboratories according to international standards.

Thin reflective thermal insulation

Reflects infrared radiation thanks to a low-emissivity facing. On the R'BULL Pro range, the measured emissivity is 0.05 (LNE) and the solar factor S is less than 0.03. The assessment method is the ISO 22097:2023 standard, which replaces the withdrawn EN 16012. Typical performance: thermal resistance R of up to 1.60 m²K/W at 13 mm.

Thin acoustic insulation

Reduces airborne sound transmission between two surfaces thanks to a dense textile complex. On the R'Acoustic range, performance is measured by an independent laboratory (LNEC, Portugal) according to the NP EN 20140-3 and EN ISO 717-1:1996 standards. Typical performance: weighted sound reduction index Rw of up to 50 dB on a double-partition wall.
