R'BULL Pro 10 is designed to supplement your traditional insulation (glass wool, rock wool, wood fibre) and effortlessly meet the requirements of RE 2020 and large-scale renovations (BAR-TH-175). It is part of the whole R'BULL range, and its installation may be supported by available aid and subsidies.

  • Unconverted loft spaces: add 5.41 m².K/W to reach the required 7 m².K/W.
  • Roof slopes: supplement with 4.41 m².K/W to reach 6 m².K/W.
  • Interior walls: just 2.11 m².K/W to add to reach 3.7 m².K/W.
  • Ground floors: add 1.41 m².K/W to meet the required 3 m².K/W.

The Roof Covering

Tiles and battens work together to intercept the sun's impact at the surface. The natural air flow above the reflective insulation dissipates heat before it can begin its journey towards your loft space.

Only 10 mm thick, is that a mistake?

Not at all. It's the quintessence of reflective insulation. With just 4 ultra-technical layers (aluminium and double PE/PET bubbles), R'BULL Pro 10 reaches a thermal resistance of R = 1.59 m².K/W (with two 20 mm air gaps). An invaluable space saving, validated by the KTU 025 SF/26 R report according to ISO 22097:2023.

How does it defy heatwaves better than thick wool insulation?

Thanks to the science of reflection. Its outstanding emissivity (ε = 0.043, LNE measurement) combined with a solar factor of S < 0.03 allows it to reflect 95% of the infrared radiation from the roof. The “thermal kettle effect” is stopped in its tracks, regardless of thickness.

Why doesn't this version have internal foam?

R'BULL Pro 10 was designed for extreme flexibility and lightness (just 11 kg per roll of 30 m²). The absence of foam is offset by a double layer of PE/PET bubbles that traps air, ensuring performance and ease of handling on complex sites.

Is it permitted in establishments open to the public (ERP)?

Fully. Despite its slimness, it has a B-s1,d0 reaction to fire rating under EN 13501-1 (AITEX report 2025AN2737). It is very low in combustibility (B), releases almost no smoke (s1) and produces no flaming droplets (d0). Installing it in an ERP simply requires a finishing layer on the interior side (standard plasterboard) to provide the required regulatory protection (15 minutes for walls, 30 minutes for ceilings).

Why doesn't R'BULL Pro 10 appear in the ACERMI database?

Because the ACERMI label, an optional scheme built on a French framework, is aimed mainly at traditional insulation products whose resistance is measured independently of installation conditions. Thin reflective insulation products such as R'BULL Pro 10 work on a different physical principle, combining emissivity, air gaps and the overall system; European legislators therefore adopted a dedicated framework: the European Technical Assessment (ETA). What European framework does R'BULL Pro 10 rely on?

The R'BULL Pro 10 is covered by the ETA 22/0178, an assessment issued under European Regulation (EU) No 305/2011 governing all construction products. This assessment enables CE marking and comes with a DoP and independent test reports: KTU (thermal resistance), AITEX (reaction to fire B-s1,d0), LNE (emissivity and solar factor). Enough to provide any design office or architect with a complete file, then find a partner installer near you.
