The R'BULL Pro 10 is designed to complement your traditional insulation (glass wool, rock wool, wood) and effortlessly meet the RE 2020 standards and those for major renovations (BAR-TH-175). It forms part of the entire R'BULL range, and its installation may be eligible for available grants and subsidies.

The roof
Roof tiles and battens work together to block the sun’s rays at the surface. Natural air circulation above the reflective insulation dissipates heat before it makes its way into your loft.
The R'BULL Pro 10 shield
Two sides made of pure aluminium. Ten millimetres thick. A single mission: to reflect 95% of solar radiation back to its source. Perfectly airtight and moisture-proof, the R'BULL Pro 10 protects your loft with an efficiency that thickness alone could never match.
The active air gap
Neither thickness nor fibre: just air. Trapped and immobilised by the R'BULL, this airtight space forms the beating heart of the insulation, a natural thermal barrier that nothing can penetrate.

📏 Only 10 mm thick – is that a mistake?
Not at all. It is the epitome of reflective insulation. With just 4 ultra-technical layers (aluminium and double PE/PET bubbles), the R'BULL Pro 10 achieves a thermal resistance of R = 1.59 m².K/W (with two 20 mm air gaps). An invaluable space-saving feature, validated by the KTU 025 SF/26 R report in accordance with ISO 22097:2023.
☀️ How does it beat the heat better than thick wool?
Thanks to the science of reflection. Its exceptional emissivity (ε = 0.043, LNE measurement) combined with a solar factor S enables it to reflect 95% of the infrared radiation from the roof. The ‘thermal kettle’ effect is stopped in its tracks, regardless of thickness.
⚖️ Why does this version not have an inner foam layer?
The R'BULL Pro 10 has been designed for extreme flexibility and lightness (only 11 kg per 30 m² roll). The absence of foam is compensated for by a double layer of PE/PET bubbles that trap air, ensuring performance and ease of handling on complex sites.
🔥 Is it permitted in public access buildings (ERP)?
Absolutely. Despite its thinness, it has a fire reaction classification of B-s1,d0 according to EN 13501-1 (AITEX report 2025AN2737). It is very low in flammability (B), emits virtually no smoke (s1) and produces no flaming droplets (d0). Its installation in public access buildings simply requires an interior finish (standard plasterboard) to ensure regulatory protection (15 minutes for walls, 30 minutes for ceilings).
🔍 Why does R'BULL Pro 10 not appear in the ACERMI database?
Because the ACERMI label, which is optional and based on French standards, is primarily aimed at traditional insulation products whose performance is measured independently of installation conditions. Thin reflective insulation products such as the R'BULL Pro 10 operate on a different physical principle combining emissivity, air gaps and the overall system; the European legislator has therefore adopted a dedicated standard: the European Technical Assessment (ETA). 🇪🇺 Which European standard does R'BULL Pro 10 comply with?
The R'BULL Pro 10 is covered by ETA 22/0178, a certificate issued under European Regulation No. 305/2011 governing all construction products. This approval enables CE marking and is accompanied by a DoP and independent test reports: KTU (thermal resistance), AITEX (reaction to fire B-s1,d0), LNE (emissivity and solar factor). This provides any engineering consultancy or architect with a complete dossier, and allows you to find an RGE-certified installer near you.
