R'BULL Pro 5 is designed to complement your traditional insulation materials (glass wool, rock wool, wood fibre). When used with fibrous insulation, it helps achieve the thermal resistance levels required by RE 2020 and major renovation projects (BAR-TH-175). It is based on R'BULL reflective technology.
- Unused loft space: as a supplement, add 5.89 m².K/W to meet the 7 m².K/W requirement.
- Roof slopes: 4.89 m².K/W to be added to meet 6 m².K/W.
- Interior walls: 2.59 m².K/W to be added to meet 3.7 m².K/W.
- Ground floors: 1.89 m².K/W to be added to meet the required 3 m².K/W.

Assessment
European Technical Assessment issued for the BOLTHERM range of reflective insulation products, which includes Ceilingo R'BULL Pro 5 (ref. BOLTHERM 121P IGN), in accordance with EAD 040007-00-1201. It enables the Declaration of Performance and CE marking of the products concerned to be established.

R'BULL Pro 5 acts on radiation, not just on conduction. Its two pure aluminium faces reflect up to 95% of infrared radiation. When combined with an unventilated air gap, it achieves an R-value of 1.11 m²K/W in accordance with standard EN ISO 22097:2023. It is designed to complement fibrous insulation, never as a replacement. Schemes such as the CEE grant and MaPrimeRénov' may be available to support this type of work.
The R'BULL Pro 5 is classified as B-s1,d0 (reaction to fire, EN 13501-1). This classification means no flame spread, very low smoke emission and no flaming droplets. It makes the product suitable for public access buildings. For the regulatory framework, see the ADEME’s position.
No. R'BULL Pro 5 complements the existing insulation. It manages radiant heat for summer comfort, whilst the wool manages conductive heat in winter. Together, they form a high-performance hybrid insulation system.
Installation is quick and dust-free. It adds virtually no height to the ceiling. At 5 mm thick, the product provides a thermal barrier and a vapour barrier (Sd > 260 m, EN 12086).
